Procurement & Fabrication

EPC’s Project Controls Team manages the procurement of all permanent facilities using the EPC processes and systems for selection, tendering and award. Where appropriate enabled frame agreements are considered.

On order placement, EPC ensure the contract is executed to achieve delivery to the required quality, on schedule and on budget. EPC perform the following functions:

  • Kick off contract and ensure Contractor produces the required Contract control documents (Execution Plan, HSE Plan, Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan etc).
  • Monitor progress against the agreed plan and milestones.
  • Agree milestone completion has been achieved to allow invoices to be raised.
  • Monitor HSE attitude, initiatives and performance.
  • Manage the Interface Definition Process, IDS register and IDS close out progress.
  • Establish and maintain an engineering query system.
  • Review supplier technical documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • Attend the contractor’s premise as required by the ITP to monitor progress and quality.
  • Manage variation proposals and present reasonable variation proposals for approval.
